Generally, Lithium batteries can be charged for 300~500 times, it's good for lithium batteries to partial discharge rather than full discharge. The main reason for the battery capacity decreased is the internal resistance increases due to oxidation. Finally, the cell resistance reaches a certain point, even though the battery is fully charged, but it still can't release the stored power.

During the period of using, we can prolong lithium battery life by the following methods.

1. Make sure lithium battery moderate charge, discharge

Lithium-ion battery power maintained at 10% ~90% is conducive to protect the battery, which means that when charge the product battery, don't need to fully charged. It is best to charge in accordance with standard time and standard methods. Especially, do not to carry out more than 12 hours of long charging.

2. Place the lithium battery in a suitable temperature environment

Do not expose digital products with lithium batteries to high temperatures or cold conditions, the operating temperature over 60℃, lithium-ion battery will accelerate aging. Lithium battery charging temperature range is 0 ~ 45℃, the discharge temperature range is 0 ~ 60 ℃, high charge state and increased temperature will speed up decline the battery capacity. When we charge for the battery, as far as possible place the battery in a cool place when the power reaches 40%, this allows the battery's own protection circuit to operate over a long period of time.

3. Do not wait the power runs out and then charge for it

The cycle life of battery depends on the frequency of repeated charge and discharge, lithium battery can be cycle charge and discharge about 500 times, and then the performance will be greatly reduced, so we should try to avoid charge after battery power runs out, otherwise with the increased numbers of charge, the battery performance will be gradually weakened.

4. Charge only using the charger provided with the appliance

When charging the product, we must use the charger provided with the appliance.  Otherwise it may not reach the saturation state, which affects its performance.
